A solitary artist who wandered the world for 30 years before reaching the art scene in France. He has held exhibitions in New York, Dubai, London, Moscow, Paris, Egypt, Milan, Venice, and the Vatican. He has also donated works to the Vatican City State, the Grace Kelly Foundation, the Al Jazeera Foundation, the David Lynch Foundation, and others. He has been awarded the NATO Peace General's Medal, the Monaco Order of Chivalry, and the German-French Cultural & Arts Order.
In this "Cannes Host-City Special Project," Yusuke Akamatsu will attend a ceremony in which works are donated to a charity.
